Inspired by hummingbirds, Trochilidae turns the body into a kinetic engine. Over 500 diamonds grace her surface, each diamond is laser-cut and anchored at a single point, allowing the surface modules to shift and collide. Tulle is placed at the hip, when pulled outward, the diamonds seemingly contract, and the silhouette expands, mimicking a midflight plumage flare.

Stretch fit - pull on style, double faced laser cut duiponi silk adhered in an imbricate pattern, tulle creates an asymmetrical pattern and activates the laser cut diamonds
